Samurai Warriors 4 Rare Weapons

This guide was made by Buster WolfBuster Wolf.

Listed will be how to get every Rare Weapon the hard way meant for challenge. The easy way is during Chronicles Mode there will be special battles (Gold crossed Swords) where you and/or your partner can get a Rare Weapon for completing the task (may get 1 task which is only for your character or 2 which will give yours first then your partner). Things to note if going for weapons the hard way.

  • The difficult must be set to Hard or Nightmare.
  • While not stated your health must stay above 50%, if your health bar goes Yellow at any point you will have to retry (soft reset does not work in this game), this also includes for other allies if stated, if they struggle they are below 50%.
  • The KO count listed must be done before the objective appears (which will be last and in bold, a golden sparkly box tells that you have enough), additionally the Time limit is how much time you have to get the objective to appear with some leeway.
  • Family Treasures can be used multiple times barring long cooldowns, make sure to bring any that neutralize Red Zones.
  • Chosen Partner is best used to block officers from reaching a destination if an objective has two points attacked at the same time that are quite far apart, additionally if you have over the required KO count as long as it's not an officer you need to personally defeat you can have your partner do it.
  • Do not kill too fast, killing too fast may cause bonus objectives to be skipped if an officer is involved before it gets brought up, additionally you may even have to delay an objective which are put in order of how to tackle the stage. There are some exceptions to this, though test the stage before hand to know.

If you got the requirements correct for the Rare Weapon the Clear marker will be a different color instead of the regular Yellow, additionally when checking objectives in the Vault the new Clear marker will be in place of the old Yellow one.
