Story: During medieval times, there were several assassin's guilds established in many European cities. Some of them managed to survive up to XVI century. Aria was a member of one. It was rather a small group with it's headquarters in the city of Breslau. Her past is a complete mystery, it's unknown how she joined them or if she still have family somewhere. The only thing known is that she is silent and coldblooded like assassin should be.
One day the guild recieved an assignment to assassinate a certain nobleman in Prussia. Since Aria was one of the best in the group, she was the one tasked to perform the assassination. However when she arrived at the nobleman's house, he was already dead. Upon examining the body she concluded that It probably happened seconds before her arrival and it must have been a work of another assassin. After her return to hq, she reported to guild's client.
She recieved only half of payment and a new target. "You will recieve the rest when you found and kill the assassin who preceded you", Her client said to her. With price money and probably some sort of revenge as her objective, Aria set on a journey to find the other assassin Jacobus.
(Author Comment. I once had an idea of cretating a female assassin to rival Jacobus, with dagger as her weapon, she may look somehow generic but I enjoy playing her, especially in third instalment. Too bad that Dagger didn't return to IV and V)

Story: After her parents died of illness when she was six, the rest of her family have placed her in an orphanage somewhere in northern Italy. Hovewer it's was not an ordinary orphanage. It was a girl's only orphanage and when they reached the age of sixteen, they were placed in the brothel that was nearby, owned by the same landlord. Fortunately for her, she was adopted at the age of fifteen. The owner of the orphanage was said to be killed some days later, brother was burned down and other girls had found safety.
Woman who adopted Livia described herself as "Gladiatrix". However she had decided to retire because of her marriage and age, and she choose Livia as a successor. Livia was confused at the beginning, but she accepted and began the training with roman sword and shield. The training was ruthless, but just as her new "mother" thought Livia have a lot of potencial.
After 5 years, Livia enters Lakeside Colliseum to test her skills, with fate as her only guide.
(Author's comment: Originaly Livia was supposed to be more of a anicent roman soldier/praetorian, but I dropped that concept and make her as a gladiatrix. Lilia is very good weapon to use, their names even sounds similar.)
