Profile
Reynold Ashland is actually one of the original members of the Bird of Passage from 1300, when he was a simple child who lost his parents to the plague. When he was 27, he was sent on a mission to assassinate a nobleman. As Reynold found out the hard way, his target was a vampire, and he was now cursed himself. Reynold left the Bird of Passage and became a lone mercenary, and eventually a knight. As soon as his vampirism was found out, however, he was exiled by the people whom he once called allies and brothers-in-arms.
Having lived alone for 200 years, Sir Reynold Ashland has recently resurfaced, learning the ways of modern fencing. When Soul Calibur appeared towards the end of the 16th century, the former assassin and knight sought to find it to both cure his vampirism and regain the fame and glory that he had lost over 200 years ago.
