Author Notes
Cao Fei was originally created in Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends, I had made her with no intent on keeping her originally, but unlike other CaWs she somehow stuck to me. While she and Xiao-Lin never meet despite how active they are in their lives I felt I had a use for her elsewhere. She was going to have a Soulcalibur version, but her story was completely dropped in 4, though I kept her around mainly so Mil Mayron had a rival.
Soulcalibur III
- Costume 1 ~ Vagrant Empress
- Meant to somewhat emulate her DW6 look.
- Costume 2 ~ Dancing Dao
- Later versions of this outfit has thighhighs instead of tight pants which wouldn't look as good here.
Soulcalibur IV
- Costume 1 ~ Vagrant Empress
- Complete outfit revamp to resemble what was made in SC5.
- Costume 2 ~ Dancing Dao
- Backwards creation of her SC3 outfit that was made from SC5.
Soulcalibur BD
- Vagrant Empress
- Original SC4 design with slight tweaks, the lining of Velvet Jacket should be Silver, but BD prevents that from being done. This was originally Captain Kat's outfit in SC4, but was given to Cao Fei.
Soulcalibur V
- Costume 1 ~ Brilliant Madness
- This was more of an attempt of her Elementazion form for Fantasy Warriors. For normal play she uses Devil Jin's style though through hacking she would be able to fight correctly with Algol's style.
- Costume 2 ~ Brilliant Madness
- Alternate design for her Elementazion form for Fantasy Warriors.
- Costume 3 ~ Dancing Dao (Legacy)
- Recreation of her Costume 2 from SC4 using SC5s creation system.
- Costume 4 ~ Vagrant Empress (Legacy)
- Recreation of her Costume 1 from SC4 using SC5s creation system.

- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 1 ~ Radiant Feather
- Cao Fei in her Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends alternate outfit, the media is her default. The Dark Princess Top is the only item that has her back showing similar to what she has for her alt outfit in DW5:XL, I couldn't do her main outfit, but this will suffice.
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 2 ~ Steel Phoenix
- Recreation of her Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires look with a small update to her design.
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 3 ~ Phoenix Empress
- Cao Fei in her Dynasty Warriors 7 outfit. The parts were changed from the demo to give her a lighter feel while keeping an Empress feel to her.
- Dynasty Warriors 7 Costume 4 ~ Amethyst Wing
- About as close as I can get to make it look like a Qipao reminiscent of her Soulcalibur 4 outfit.
- Dynasty Warriors 8 Costume 5 ~ Azure Phoenix
- New Outfit made for her DW9 Concept which looks quite like her Fantasy Warriors counterpart.
- Samurai Warriors 4 Costume 1 ~ Amethyst Wing
- Wish we could remove the wings of the Western Crown. Somewhat recreation of her Fantasy Warriors default outfit, though it's not easy to make it exact.
- Samurai Warriors 4 Costume 2 ~ Violet Lash (Empires only)
- If Setsuna were in this game this would basically be her outfit, I was wanting Cao Fei to have it since I didn't want to make a separate character.
